MedPro RRG Risk Retention Group (MedPro RRG) is domiciled and licensed in Washington, D.C. and is registered to conduct business in New York and other states. Medical Protective, a Berkshire Hathaway company, reinsures 98% of all risks insured by MedPro RRG. Policies issued by MedPro RRG contain a “cut-through” endorsement which provides that, in the event of MedPro RRG fails to pay a loss payable under a policy, Medical Protective will become liable pursuant to the Quota Share Reinsurance Agreement between MedPro RRG and Medical Protective. Princeton Insurance Company, a Berkshire Hathaway/MedPro Group company, provides personalized customer service to MedPro RRG New York physician and hospital policyholders. No capital or surplus contributions or membership fees are ever required. Policies issued by MedPro RRG are non-assessable. MedPro RRG is rated A++ (Superior) by A.M. Best (as of 5/27/2015).
